The minutes of the last meeting were ratified by the Board. The Community report for February and March were ratified and will be uploaded to the website.
Principal’s report
The school has been sanctioned one more Assistant Principal 2 post. We now have one Deputy Principal, two Assistant Principal I posts and five Assistant Principal 2 posts.
The school calendar 2024 — 2025 was ratified by the board.
Finance
It was decided that a separate Board meeting will be planned to create a budget for year 2024 — 2025
Ongoing review of school policies
Three policies were ratified
l) Medical and Administration of Medication Policy 2) Yard and Supervision Policy
3) Healthy Eating Policy
The Medical and Administration of Medication Policy and Healthy Eating Policy were sent to the school community for review and consultation alongside the PTA. All responses have been reviewed and discussed by the board. All responses were replied to, thanking them for their feedback.
Premises
The ongoing issue of the roof leaking was discussed.
PTA
Report to School Community
The PTA will be holding a table quiz and raffle on May 8 th. The PTA will also apply to Tesco to become a blue token.
