BOM Meeting, Thursday 13th February 2025

The minutes of the last meeting were ratified by the Board.
Principal’s report
The school calendar for 2025-2026 was ratified by the Board.
46 junior infants have accepted places for 2025-2026.
Finance
The Board approved the 2024-2025 account and signed off on same.
HSE Lottery Grant (€10,000) is being applied for to redesign and rebuild a central school library.
Ongoing review of school policies
The following policies ratified:
- Anti-Bullying Policy
- Code of Positive Behaviour
- Staff Absences Policy
- Wicklow ETNS Swimming Policy
The Critical Incident Policy has also been updated.
Ayrton Group were on site recently to complete a Safety Statement and Risk Assessment.
Report to School Community Premises
In December 2024, the Emergency Works Department committed to a shortterm fix, and long-term solution for the roof. The Board are awaiting further details of these plans.
PTA
The PTA AGM will be held on Wednesday 26th February 2025.
A bake sale will be held on Friday 14th March 2025.
