BOM Meeting, Thursday 19th June 2025
Present — Daniel Vickers, Sharon Hogan, Ian Maher, Mercedes Douglas and Frederique Van Buuren

The minutes of the last meeting were ratified by the Board.
Correspondence
Email from a parent regarding Sherpa running a breakfast club — The board decided we are not in a position to facilitate this.
Documents sent from the Department of Education were circulated with the board.
Principal’s report
Standardised Tests for 2 nd /4 th /6 th were sent to the Department on Wednesday 1 8th.
The board were happy with the results being reported.
Finance
The board will progress the solar panels in order to save on running costs for the school.
Say yes to Languages are funding due for 4 classes in term 2 to have 10 weeks of lessons.
Premises
The board were given an update on the remedial works for the roof.
The extension is still progressing in the background.
The staff are very positive about having spaces reopened and are looking forward to being able to utilise the whole school in the new year.

E.T Report
Daniel Attended the AGM. Our motion was pushed back to the ET BOM. Daniel will be emailing ET. Daniel and the Board were Disappointed at the lack of support from ET.
AOB
The Board wishes for all community minutes to be uploaded to the website.
The Board were formally invited by 6th class students to the 6th class graduation. Members of the Board will attend.
The website is back up and running. The Board thanked everyone involved in completing this.
There is currently a vacancy on the BOM due to Anthony O’Rourke stepping back.
