BOM Meeting, Thursday 7th May 2026

Adoption of the previous meeting’s minutes
The minutes ofthe last meeting were ratified by the Board. The Report to the school Community was also signed.
Principal’s report
Update on admissions for 2026/27 was given. Our cluster is now with St Patricks.
The school will be running a school based summer programme this year
Finance
The financial report to parents was presented to the PTA at their AGM.
Accounts were signed.
Ongoing review of school policies
Interim Wellbeing Policy — Ratified
Next steps will be involving the wider school community.
Mobile Device Policy — no change
Premises
Solar panels have now been installed.
Safe Routes To School have been in and monitored set down and drop off and had a meeting with some staffand parents. They will return to monitor more as Report to the School Community as they feel they did not see everything they needed to. We are awaiting a response from their visit.
PTA
PTA are holding a quiz on May 13 th.
The PTA will assist with the Global Art Trail by running a refreshments table, bake sale, raffles.
E.T Report
Educate Together have an AGM on Saturday 9 th May 2026 at Ballinteer ETNS.
Ethical education is being rolled out in third level institutes.
AOB
The Green Schools Committee provided an update on the work they have been doing. The BOM was incredibly impressed. They requested to ask families for their receipt slips for the return scheme — approved
