The photographer was quiet this week but that does not reflect the work that went on in Junior Infants Green as the children continued working through the theme Homes and Houses.
Aistear activities included making animal homes from natural resources, painting dream homes, constructing houses and gardens and the ever eventful home corner.
The children are working through group 5 of the Jolly Phonics letter sounds and continuing to blend cvc words.
Maths lessons focused on comparing sizes as well as 2D shapes. Next week the children will participate in a shape trail around the school. You can help to reinforce this learning by looking for shapes around the house and in the local environment.
