We have had a very busy first week in Junior infants. We knew we were off to a great start when our magic play dough changed colour which is a clear indicator that we would have a super year! We have been classifying objects into groups in Maths, learning about ‘Mé Féin’ in Irish, practicing our days of the week and colours of  the rainbow. You may hear bits of ‘Rollaí pollaí’ or ‘Head, shoulders, knees and toes’, being sung around the house along with the very catchy ‘This is how you wash your hands song’. We are reading the Miss Beanie golden rules books which help us to remember the importance of gentle hand, listening ears, working hard and inclusive play.
