It’s been a busy couple of weeks in Junior Infants. Our theme is People in the community who help. Aistear stations include small world, junk art and construction.
In the drama corner we’ve had plenty of miming activities as the children act out different people who help us.
In English the children are working very hard on their letter formations.
In Maths we covered 3D shape and the children assembled the net of a cone. Please look out for 3D shapes in your environment when you are out and about.
Our Gaeilge theme is ag siopadoireacht / shopping. The children are as enthusiastic as always in learning Irish.
PE lessons focused on gross motor skills and we used the parachute for the first time.
We will continue this theme for the next 2 weeks.
