Important Dates
School Holidays – Monday 11th April to Friday 22nd April inclusive The school will close for holidays at 12.30pm on Friday 8th April for all pupils and will re-open on Monday 25th April. Please note the following collection times:

Friday 8th April Cool Food School Both 4th Classes will take part in the Cool Food School which is a hands-on workshop on food origins including food preparation, experimenting and cooking. The workshop forms part of our Incredible Edibles challenge.
Thurs 28th April – Dominican Show “Teen Beach” Both 6th classes will attend the TY show called “Teen Beach” in the Dominican College on Thursday 28th April. There is a small fee of €3 to attend this show. Please send this in an envelope marked with your child’s name to the school office – thank you
Thurs 26th May School Photo’s – County Photos will be at the school on Thursday 26th May to take the children’s school photos. Further reminder closer to the date.
School Tours – School Tour Permission and payment requests have been sent out to all classes. Please log in to Aladdin to give consent and make payment. Thank you
Aftercare & Extra-Curricular Activities – We are hopeful that we will be in a position to restart our aftercare and extra-curricular activities on a phased basis at the start of the new school year. Our first priority will be our aftercare for Junior and Senior Infants from 1.20 – 2.20, followed by extra-curricular activities, and lastly, we will look at an extension of hours in our aftercare. We will update further nearer to the time.
Are you leaving WETNS? If you are planning to leave the school at the end of the year please let us know, in writing, at your earliest convenience. It is better for the school to know as soon as possible as we have waiting lists for most classes in the school. Drama Classes in the Libraries – A drama class will take place on 13th April for two age groups – Group 1 (6 – 9 year olds) and Group 2 (10 – 12 year olds). Contact Wicklow Library for more information.
Lost Property – we have a large amount of lost property here at the school. Please see the attached list to check if any of the items belong to your child. Please send an email to [email protected] so the item can be returned. Any unclaimed items will be donated to charity after the holidays.
