Please see below our plan for the week ahead to help keep you informed of what is happening in our school.
Important Dates: October mid-term Monday 30th October – Friday 3rd November.
Newsletter – Please also see attached our first newsletter of this school year. The children loved exploring and creating this newsletter at school.
Aladdin Address Information – It is important that we have correct address information for all children in our school. Please log in to Aladdin to check that the address information is correct for your child and that your address includes an Eircode.
PTA Winter Fair – We’re getting close to that time of year again. Please find a save the date poster attached for the WETNS winter fair 2023. Details of the date and how to register interest for stall holders on the poster. Many Thanks PTA Committee

5th class green library visit
Wednesday 11th October
PTA AGM – 7.30 – 8.30pm in the school hall. Please come along to support our school.
Senior infants HSE flu vaccination (nasal spray) during the school day for all those who have given consent.
4th class green Fighting Words workshop at the Mermaid Theatre – Please ensure you complete the consent/payment request for your child.
6th class green swimming during the school day. Reminder to all 6th class parents to ensure children bring some extra lunch on Wednesdays as the children are always hungry after swimming.
Thursday 12th October
6th class blue swimming during the school day. Reminder to all 6th class parents to ensure children bring some extra lunch on Thursdays as the children are always hungry after swimming.
Friday 13th October
3rd class Glendalough trip – broadening their studies in SESE, third class will participate in the free “Educational Visits to Schools” scheme in Glendalough. Please ensure you complete the consent/payment request in Aladdin for your child.
