We learnt about the Jewish festival of Rosh Hashanah this week.It is traditional to dip apples in honey during the festival as it reminds people of the sweet new year that is just beginning. As we dipped our apples in honey everyone said “L’shanah tovah” which means ‘For a good year’. Big thank you to teacher Rory in 5th class who provided the apples for our class from his garden!
