It’s been a busy start to the new term. 6th class have settled into their role as head of the school beautifully. We have been passing the afternoons with some great science experiments. Today we learnt about upthrust and increasing water buoyancy by adding salt. We designed and tested our boats on the water to see if they could float. After we were sure the vessels were sea worthy we added passengers ( pea sized plasticine pieces) The joint record for maximum number of passengers carried by a single boat is 300 and is  held by Daniel and Kai.
