Set-downPlease remember to drive all the way through to the set-down area- it is no longer blocked by parked cars! Asking children to alight at the bike rack causes congestion for all those cars behind who wish to use our set-down area correctly. Please don’t block the road here, keep things moving by using set-down!

WOW – Will Louise’s 1st class remain undefeated in winning the junior Golden Boot Award for the 3rd month in a row??? Where are our junior & senior infants, & our 2nd classes???? Will Edele’s 6th class get back to their winning ways? Or can Alison’s 3rd retain their 1st senior Golden Boot Award? Keep up the good work! Get moving to school & keep our planet cleaner & greener!!

Student Council – This year our Student Council are very proud to announce that the charities which they have chosen to support over the year are The Simon Community and First Responders, Wicklow.

The Simon Community work with homeless individuals and families around the country.  To support them in their work we will have a Giving Tree in aid of The Simon Community in our school foyer from Monday, 11th December and would invite any families or individuals who wish to make a donation of a toy to this very worthy charity to leave it under the tree.  Toys should be new and suitable for age range 0 – 12.  We would ask that the toys be left unwrapped.

These toys will then be collected by The Simon Community and distributed from their depot.  Many thanks, The Student Council.

Congratulations Sam in Cathy’s Class – Sam’s entry for the Bridge Street Book’s bookmark competition was selected and made into a poster which is displayed in the front window of the shop. It is a picture of Natalie, the main character from a book Sam is currently writing. Brilliant. Well done Sam.

Wet Mornings – Due to confined space on a wet morning in the hall, we would ask that parents of older children consider dropping their children at the doors of the hall to allow more space for the younger children.
