Wicklow Educate Together NS – Plan for the Week Ahead
Dear school community
Please see below our plan for the week ahead to help keep you informed of what is happening in our school.
PTA Table Quiz – The PTA would like to thank everyone who participated in the table quiz on Wednesday evening and helped make it a great success. This was a great community event and we hope to continue on it’s success next year. A special thanks to Eamonn and Joe who were our fabulous task masters on the night and to all the PTA members who helped arrange the evening. The quiz and raffle raised €1,001 for the school. Many Thanks Linda
Student Council – On 24 May, the 16 members of our Student Council travelled to and from central Dublin with Sharon and Alison. They took part in some workshops and discussions with a member of the Ombudsman for Children’s Office around the Rights of the Child and Children’s Voice in local, National and International issues. These 16 elected school representatives were a credit to our school yesterday, and we were so impressed and proud at their level of engagement and ability to speak and debate different topics. Whilst there, the Ombudsman himself, Niall Muldoon, made a surprise visit and chatted with the children. There will be a report in a forthcoming School Newsletter and some photos from the day too, so keep an eye out!
School Tours – As we begin our school tour season, we ask that all tours are paid in full prior to Monday 29th May.
