Message from Sharon & Leanne – “Our wonderful Junior Infants are progressing well on their reading journey. We are now looking for volunteers to help out with listening to the children’s reading in the mornings, ideally from parents who do not have a child in Junior Infants at present. If you would have time to spare before 9.30am each, or on some mornings, and would like to volunteer to help with this please can you send an email to
[email protected] or [email protected]. “
Aftercare/Homework Club March Billing – The March billing for Aftercare and Homework club will be issued next Monday 1st April. Please ensure bills are paid promptly as per communication sent out earlier this week.
Extra-Curricular – Term 2 of our extra-curricular programme will finish on Thursday 11th April. Full details of term 3 will be sent out shortly.
% for Art Sculpture – As you can see the schools % for art commission is now underway. The curved undulating concrete wall is complete, and we can see the space inside forming. The brown concrete floor is poured, and the internal curved seating is formed. We look forward to the next steps unfolding…..
A Message from the Dunne Family – Our beautiful Siobhan was taken far too soon, she was too young to go, She was a very loving deep person and it always upset her when she’d hear of someone being taken too young, so in Siobhan’s memory I think it’s only right that if there’s even a small chance of saving someone’s life in the future then that’s exactly what we should do as I know that’s what she would want. So, in memory of Siobhan my family and I are asking as many people as possible to join us in this year’s Women’s Mini Marathon in Dublin on Sunday June 2nd to help us raise funds for a Defibrillator for Rathnew’s Main Street and The Irish Heart Foundation. Let’s do this for Siobhan and let’s try prevent another family from losing someone they love too soon❤️ So who’s joining us?
PARENTS ASSOCIATION UPDATE
Thank you so much to everyone who participated in the St Patrick’s Day parade! We were delighted to see so many people there and the wonderful array of colour representing our school entry. We also took home the Best School Entry award.
