Please also return all readers to allow us to complete our stock check. Books can be dropped to the white box outside the office throughout the day.

Wednesday 16th Photographs for 6th class
Thursday 17th Bike to School Day-more details to follow
Culture week and active week are both coming up this month. Please ensure the children wear comfortable clothes and footwear suitable for activity.
In line with our Covid protocols reminder that the children must not bring toys from home into school
Punctuality – The school is open for pupils 8.40-9.00am. We have noted a significant increase in the number of children arriving late for school. Our experience is that pupils who arrive on time for school have a more rewarding learning experience and benefit from the early morning routine, including social time with their peers. Lateness disturbs the learning of others and as in the case of absence, a child can miss fundamental concepts, particularly in subjects such as Maths, which are frequently taught first thing in the morning. Please be aware that children arriving late have an impact on the entire class due to the disruption of late arrivals during lessons.
Summer programme – If any eligible pupils wish to apply for a tutor (please note they will be limited) through the school please email Eamonn directly [email protected]
Book Rental/ Sundries/Pupil Books – We will be sending you out booklists and sundries next week, please note that we will be supplying everything to pupils again this coming school year all you will need to provide will be your child’s bag lunch box and drinks bottle. We will be purchasing all the pupil books, copy books, stationery items, this is a massive bill to the school which is why we ask for payment from parents ahead of the holidays.
