A massive thank you and a huge well done to all of you that turned up and helped out for our parade entry. Particular thanks to Debbie and Oisín for their creative talents with An Fear Dearg and An Pùca. They were superb! Our 4 swans Bethan, Eve, Ariadne and Maria…you wowed the town with your graciousness and are a talking point still. Ciaran our trusty steed. The Carter family for their amazing Harps & Faery tree. David Cavanagh for all his help on the day, as always. We can’t forget Tara & Yvonne who ran the show for us and Fran who never fails to quietly surprise! Thanks to all of the parents who took up the prop duty on the day from holding flags to lifting boats and banners. The effort and dedication was palpable. The pupils were breathtaking. Thanks to Sophia for her face painting & Billy for being our most beautiful butterfly in memory of Arthur. We deservedly won the Overall prize and we would be honoured to dedicate it to the memory of Arthur O Brien. Well done to all of you. Another proud day for WETNS.
