Wicklow Educate Together NS – Plan for the Week Ahead
Dear school community,
Please see below our plan for the week ahead, and other important information, to help keep you informed of what is happening in our school.
Important Dates
Winter Fair – Looking forward to seeing you at our winter fair on Sunday. We will have lots of stalls with produce and gifts for all. Also, we will be selling tickets for our grand raffle with amazing prizes (full list attached). The draw will take place on 21st December at our end of year concert shows. Tickets can be purchased at the winter fair and also at the school office. Please note that not all stall holders will be accepting card payments, so please bring cash on the day as well. We thank you for your much needed and valued, support in advance.
School Calendar 2024 – The closing date for ordering your 2024 school calendar is Friday 1st December. Orders can be placed in the Aladdin app.
Peace Proms – Both 3rd classes have a workshop for the Peace Proms in Blanchardstown on Tuesday the 5th December. The children from both 3rd classes will be travelling by bus to the event. To get to the venue in enough time, children need to be in school at 8:30am on that day. The children will be back in school around lunch time on that day. The cost of the bus is €9.00 and can be paid via Aladdin.

End of Term Performance – The end of term class performances will take place on Thursday 21st December in the school hall. A more detailed schedule will be communicated to you in advance. This will be a full school day.

Board of Management Election – All votes for the parent nominees to the Board of Management election must be returned by 2:30pm on Tuesday 28th November.
Enrolments – A reminder to those who have received an offer of a place for Junior Infants 2024, that Tuesday 28th November is the final date to confirm acceptance of the offer by returning (1) signed acceptance letter (2) PPS number and (3) birth certificate to the school office. If you are not accepting the offer of a place please email [email protected] to let us know so we can offer the place to our waiting list.

PTA Meetings – School will close on Wednesday at 2:05pm and school buses will leave at 2pm.
