Minutes The minutes of the previous BOM meeting were adopted by the meeting.
General staffing updates and enrolment updates were discussed


Premises Lightning protection contract has been agreed and will be carried out on an annual basis.


Landscaping contract has been advertised in the school newsletter today.


The Percent for Art work is continuing.


Finance Strictly Fundraiser has been a fantastic success and has raised approximately €27,000. The money raised will be ringfenced and the Board will discuss how to best use this money going forward.


The school has applied for two National Lottery grants, both for the garden. An integration fund of €5000 has also been applied for, with a focus on anti-racism.


School Policies The draft of the Code of Behaviour will be shared with the school community for feedback


Staff absences – Draft policy was shared with the Board. All unpaid leave requests will go through the Board of Management going forward. Staff will usually apply for unpaid leave at least 3 weeks in advance.


There has been a noticeable improvement in punctuality since the last meeting.


Child protection – When the inspectorate visit the school, schools will either be found compliant or non-compliant.


After School Activities Extended aftercare continues to go well. This provision will be extended until 6pm next year.


E.T report The Educate Together AGM took place on the 31st March. Paul Rowe is standing down as Chief Executive of Educate Together.


PTA report Strictly was a great success. The previous committee have now officially ended their term.


Other The Board warmly congratulated Mary Dee who is getting married over the Easter break. The Board is also delighted to congratulate Brian Daly and his wife Anne on the birth of their baby daughter Grace.
